New GM Brad Robson Talks Draft & Coaches

Brad Robson settles into his office at the ENMAX Centre
It's been a very busy first week in his new position for Brad Robson.

He was only named the Lethbridge Hurricanes new General Manager back on March 26th and it's been a whirlwind of scouting for the upcoming Bantam draft May 2nd in Calgary and fielding resumes, several of them from potential new Head Coaches.

I sat down with Robson in his new office at the ENMAX Centre Tuesday afternoon to talk about a number of different things. He's just settling in, but is very excited about the future of this hockey club. As I've said many times before in my 16 years broadcasting hockey, I don't think I've come across a more likable, down-to-earth, and easy-to-talk-to kind of guy who has experience and knows what he wants.

There's no question the next 5 months will be full-out go for Robson with the Bantam Draft in a month, followed by the Import Draft in June, hiring a new Head Coach, and maybe even a few trades in the off-season. You can listen to the entire interview below.

Thanks,
Pat
